Show Throw Wall-Hangings - $25/ square foot

While any quilt may be hung these patterns are the most elaborate and complicated. The Wall-Hanging price includes backing, batting, custom top-quilting, binding, hanging sleeve, and showcase tabs. Patterns are selected with your guidance and with consideration for the lengths and colors of your ribbons.

Each of the quilts is one-of-a-kind; no pattern will be repeated as it is displayed here.

	Broken (Connecticut) Star Actually a queen sized quilt made from the same idea as the star wall-hangings. Once completed, it will be totally functional yet beautiful enough to hang.
	Maryland Star with Intricate Borders Plenty of interchanging colors, two complex borders, a vast collection of antique ribbons, and bold use of red make this quilt a dramatic work of art. Maryland Star Alternating blades of blue, red, and yellow set this star apart.

	Virginia Star An intricate star made even more complex by a large, decorated border.
	New York Stars Slight variations of the same pattern and distinctly different color arrangements set these two wall-hangings apart.

	North Carolina Star A collective gift for a friend on her 50th birthday to honor her life of showing. This star has many ribbons bordering it to encompass the entire collection.
	Small Star Stars can be made in practically any size to show-off any collection of ribbons. This star is slightly larger than those used to create a pillow. It makes framing the finished quilt a possibility.
	Oklahoma Star Despite the wide variety of colors used this star still tells the eye, "Hello, I'm blue! How are you?" - IN PROGRESS
	New Hampshire Star Six panels rather than eight to showcase a unique and impressive collection of long-only ribbons.
	Dairy Cross Former show cows' names are incorporated on (customer supplied) ribbons and all mixed in with plenty of awarded ribbons to create this lattice-like pattern.
	Dreamscape Photo Quilt Former jumping partners centered diagonally among carefully planned fans of "gold only" ribbons to create a work of art worthy of a prominant spot in any home.
	Dream Rollback An artistic wall-hanging with blocks that are based on slightly more difficult, curved seams.
	Small Stars Just a flashy little wall-hanging. A great way to use a collection of smaller ribbons with championship ribbons forming the borders.
	Phenom Photo Quilt I think this is a great way to use a small number of ribbons to create a great quilt. My horse Phenom uses his as a stall decoration!
	Trainer's Photo Quilt This is a fantastic gift for a trainer - everyone in the barn contributed a picture, six ribbons, and around $20 to make a wonderful end-of-the-show-season gift.

	Stained Glass Hanging This pattern, though it looks stunning, was quite complex and is not recommended for durability.

	Broken (New York) Star Made for a friend in honor of her horse, that was greatly loved and will be missed.
	Illinois Star Sooo much blue! and quite a few championship ribbons! It is set diagonally with additional stars building the corners to make it 7x7'. An IMPRESSIVE wall-hanging and perfectly functional as a sofa throw.
	Kentucky Star A great pattern for a wide variety of colors and ribbon lengths.
	Big Blue Stars A couple of beautiful stars that are a little bit larger than most. The first one features quite a few long blue ribbons which were even used in the binding. The second one tricks the eye by using the four colors in predictable ways exept in a few instances.

	Georgia Star The green border added to the outside makes this quilt exquisite; reminiscent of grassy fields and the blue, yellow, and white of sunny skies. Then, there is a touch of red to draw the eye to the center rosette.
	California Stars The California and Georgia stars are very similar in design but the California uses longer ribbons to greater effect. Slight variations of the same pattern and distinctly different color arrangements result in distinctly different wall-hangings. Fancy stitching makes the second of these quilts more elegant up-close. The third quilt features a blue border and central tab for showcasing a favorite rosette. It may be easiest to pin your favorite rosette(s) to the finished quilt so that they will not be so missed if they are no longer desired. In Memory of Duke A California Star created in memory of an equine friend who was lost in a tragic accident.



	Ohio Stars One star uses a collection of the fabric from the button in the center of each rosette. It is currently being custom quilted with black thread in a star design. It is a MUST SEE UP-CLOSE. The second of these two stars made great use of some extra-wide (3") ribbons to form a 39" finished wall-hanging.

	Connecticut Stars Slight variations of the same pattern and distinctly different color arrangements result in distinctly different wall-hangings once again! The first one is a season award from the 2005 Highest Horse Schooling Shows and one of the first star wall-hangings created. The second has a unique yellow octagonal border mixed in with the normal borders created from spare ribbons. The third has more of a patchy appearance due to the various colors and sizes of ribbons used to create it. The fourth has some (customer supplied) embroidered horse quote corners which are so clever! Project Order Form
