Diagonal
Stripe Borders
A wrap-around
diagonal stripe border always adds that something extra.
Rosette Button Borders
In addition
to the wrap-around diagonal stripe border these two wall-hangings
have a border comprised of 2" squares. These
squares can be cut from the rosettes' fabric buttons to
preserve all those show logos.

Simple Block Borders
Star hangings
can be embelished with this very ribbon intensive border. This
one would look amazing with a selection of favorite rosette tops
hung in the border's squares.

Snail & Braided Borders
A braided border is the perfect
reward for all those late nights and early mornings spent braiding
mane. The Maryland star to the left also features a snail border
which gives extra antiquity to the vintage ribbons.

Star
Corners
This collection of ribbons were left overs from
hosting a show so the customer didn't mind a little slicing and
dicing to make the quilt more intricate. Most people will choose
to have the ribbons left more intact.

Kaleidoscope
Corners
Inspired by the large number of white-center-streamer
ribbons & wanting those harder to win to stand out from the
white, I used the Kaleidoscope pattern to pair the white centers
with their original side streamers to make this Tennessee Star.

Diagonal
Stars with Simple
Block Corners
Ohio, Virginia,
and Smart Stars set on their corners to create space for a
large collection of smaller ribbons with satin button centers.

Fabric
Borders & Corners
Fabric can be added to the corners
or used as a border to create space for pinning rosette tops on,
embroidery, or just increasing the size to make the quilt more
functional.

(Partial)
Irish Chain
A wall-hanging version of an Irish
Chain quilt made from agility ribbons illustrates how the rosette
button squares can be used as the corners and/or infill.
